![]() Note: System Profiler reports the usb info (not the BT info) as containing a version numer (3.73). NB: google does indicate that ISSC is a major oem for BT Adadpters. the always useful 'Peripheral Vision' (a bezel-services device-notifier does not report 'unknown' as the device name - it reports the same, full, info as the System Profiler usb info (namely 'ISSC BTA'). in the System Profiler:USB Info, the device name is ISSCBTA.īut if the usb details (name etc) are stored in the dongle's ROM, the why does the 'hidden' textfield that is toggled in the BT Sys Prefs indicate the name as 'unknown'?. ![]() ![]() Unlabeld field: UNKNOWN (H2.510) (L2.510)īy comparing this System Prefs summary for the 4th field ('unknown') with the full info obtained from System Profiler, i am assuming that the last field in teh Prefs is supposed to be for the OEM's name. The 'hidden' info from the BT system prefs does show some but not all of the info for BT from System Profile. ![]()
